“E.G.O.”
It’s been said that E.G.O. means “Edging God Out.” Well, perhaps. As my friend wrote, “righteous indignation, anger or otherwise, is a sure sign of a bruised ego.” Ego bristles when it takes offense, and ego easily is offended, whereas soul never is. So, in this context it may be that we are edging God or Spiritual consciousness out. We certainly are not in a consciousness of God when we are focused on the egocentric thought that “it’s all about me.”
So what’s the answer—resolution?

“The Power of Will – Part 2”
We know that our inherent Powers do not work on their own. They work in concert with one another. Will is our ability to choose, decide, command, lead, and determine.
This topic will explore how our powers of Understanding, Wisdom, and Love can be used to support our power of will.

“Giving Up the Pain Body”
Eckhart Tolle defines the pain body as the human tendency to perpetuate old emotions that almost everyone carries in his or her energy field. It is an accumulation of old emotional pain which he calls the pain body. He believes we can stop adding to the pain body that we already have, and we can learn to break the habit of accumulation and perpetuating old emotions. We would do this by refraining from mentally dwelling on the past, regardless of whether something happened yesterday or 30 years ago. Eckhart says any negative emotion that is not fully seen for what it is in the moment does not completely dissolve. It leaves behind a remnant of pain, and children, in particular, find strong negative emotions too overwhelming to cope with.
When that happens, the child tends to try and not feel those negative emotions—-especially in the absence of a fully conscious and compassionate adult to guide him.

“What Is Emerging? Seeing Beyond the Headlines”
Many people sense that something profound is emerging in human consciousness. Yet the headlines often leave us wondering whether the world is unraveling or evolving. How do we discern the difference?
In our service time together, we’ll explore the signs of spiritual emergence and the quiet work of Spirit that often unfolds beneath the surface of our lives and our world. Together, we’ll consider how we might recognize—and participate in—what is seeking to emerge in us, through us, and among us.

“What Story Are You Living? Choosing the Narrative That Shapes Your Life”
Every day we’re surrounded by stories—stories from the news, our families, our past, and our own minds. Some stories leave us feeling powerless; others awaken possibility. And some of the most influential stories are the ones we’re not even aware we’re telling ourselves.
