“Where Love Comes From”
The title of this lesson is based on an article of the same name written by Rev Bill Englehart.
April is the month in which we focus on our Divine Power of Love. Rev Englehart says that all 12 faculties are important, but he believes that the power of Love is foundational. Today’s lesson is a review of the facts concerning our Power of love and the important facts about its center.
Scripture: “If I speak in the tongues of mortar and of angels, but do not have love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.” – 1 Corinthians 13:1
Affirmation: An inexhaustible stream of divine love pours through me, blessing others and myself.

“A Sacred Opportunity”
The topic of Motherhood offers a Sacred Opportunity to anyone who is involved in raising children – whether, or not it is a woman or a man. Every day we also have the Sacred Opportunity to be that nurturing person whenever and wherever we find them. Motherhood is God’s feminine aspect of the deity, and today we will honor the “hand that rocks the cradle” with God’s Love as shield and armor.

“Who is in Charge Here?”
This month’s lesson in our yearly spiritual quest is about our Power of Power, or dominion.
Then God said, “Let us make humankind in our image, according to our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the wild animals of the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.”
According to Reverend Karen Romestan, each of us has power over our thoughts. This lesson focuses on the power of our thinking to shape and mold our lives.
Affirmation: The power of my thoughts and words move me ever closer to the Truth of my being.

In today’s world, people are hungering for meaning. We are starving for ‘soul’ food—inner nourishment, a connection to our well-spring of spirituality, self-esteem and wellness. One way to fulfill the need for soul nourishment is through the use of ritual, because Rituals are a vehicle to help us experience inner and outer transformation. This talk speaks directly to our spiritual need to grow and thrive.

Some of us have fathers, or had them ~ biological fathers, adoptive fathers, step fathers, etc. ~ who have made contributions of their time and energy to our lives.
For others, that past or present “father” space may not be occupied. Let’s identify and celebrate the many different father figures ~ their impact on our lives ~ and build or create a father relationship even where there may seem to be an absence.
