NEW CLASS: Reconciliation from Broken Relationships

Date: September 8, 2024

Time: 12:30-2:00 P.M.

Text: I Thought We’d Never Speak Again by Laura Davis

Love Offering

At times relationships end due to feelings of betrayal, anger and misunderstanding. In this workshop we will take a look at the steps needed to reconcile an estranged relationship. These include examples of sibling disputes, parents and their children, those estranged through divorce, the falling out of friends, crime victims and their perpetrators, and other examples of situations that seem unforgivable. During the workshop we will look at:

*An assessment to determine whether you are ready to reconcile

* The concept of restorative justice

*Conciliatory gestures

*A deep look at the difference between forgiveness and reconciliation

*Restoring peace in your life

* Learning to have more empathy

*Making amends

*Letting someone back into your life

The workshop will have opportunities for participants to share their experiences and have experiential exercises on how to use a reconciliation process to end an estranged relationship.
