Spiritual Conversations-Part II
March 17, 2024
In this interactive workshop which is Part II of a workshop started last fall based on the principles from the book “Say What You Mean” by Oren Jay Sofer, we will explore how to turn challenging conversations into spiritual communication that blesses everyone involved. During the workshop, based on the teachings of nonviolent communication, those attending will learn how to:
-Reframe negative comments and conversations
-Know the difference between forgiveness and reconciliation
-Ask questions to gain greater understanding of differences
-Have empathy for those with differing views
-Look for common ground
The workshop will give opportunities to either practice having such conversations or analyzing how these principles can improve challenging conversations in your life. Participants are not required to have attended the workshop in the fall to participate in this session.

The SAM (Serving Area Military) Center in Massillon helps military veterans and their families in times of need. They are in need of toiletry items (toilet paper, toothpaste, toothbrushes, bar soap, hand soap, shampoo, deodorant…) and non-perish food items. We have set out a collection bin in the foyer for items you wish to donate. To learn more about the SAM Center check out their website www.servingareamilitary.com.
Help a local soup kitchen by saving your plastic food containers with lids! They can also use plastic shopping bags. A collection bag is in the foyer. Personal hygiene products, socks, and underwear are also welcomed.
We receive money for the aluminum cans we recycle. There is a collection bin in the foyer. No steel cans please.
All office hours are suspended at this time. Our voicemail is continuously monitored, so if you need to contact us, please leave a voicemail and someone will call you back.
