Facility Re-Opening Guidelines

A note from the Board President

May 26, 2020

During these uncertain times, our Unity of Massillon staff has worked relentlessly to ensure that everyone would have a very positive “virtual” experience in lieu of our closure. It has been well received and we are very grateful to everyone involved.

Unity of Massillon staff have also been staying up to date on all Covid-19 guidelines from our government agencies and Unity Worldwide Ministry recommendations. We have developed protocol for a phased reopening scheduled July 1st. We are all aware that this situation is fluid and the guidelines will change frequently. We will be assessing our situation weekly and reporting with the Board ongoing as changes occur.

Coming to Sunday service is going to be a different experience than what you are used to, but I want to assure everyone that we hold each and every one of you as sacred. We would ask that anyone that has underlying health issues to remain home and enjoy our live feed from the safety of your home. We will have a limited amount of seating because of social distancing (17 – 20) but it should be adequate during this phase. We pray that this phase goes by quickly because we all miss our hugs so badly.

Please take the time to read the Facility Re-Opening Guidelines. These are dated and we will post all revised updates as soon as anything starts to change on all of our social media. I love each and every one of you and want you to feel comfortable in knowing that our church home is looking out for you. Many blessings.

Dear Unity Family,

Most all of us have been made well aware of the Covid-19 virus and how it has temporarily changed how we conduct our daily lives.  We would like to give you an update on what Unity of Massillon is doing to keep on top of the situation, while providing ongoing spiritual support.  Unity of Massillon is suspending all services, groups and events for the next few weeks.  While the building will be open only to necessary personnel during this time (cleaning, administrative crew), we ask all others to please exercise caution and prudence; stay home, stay safe, and view Sunday’s service live on Facebook or later in the day or week on YouTube. We will provide ongoing updates on both our website and Facebook pages.

We know it is vital to stay connected with your spiritual community, especially during this transitory time of uncertainty. Please reach out through telephone or other electronic means; our voicemail is checked several times daily and our email and postal mail are checked at least twice a week.

We invite you to join in the following prayer or one of your own choosing:
We know that God is a Love that has no end and a Power that knows no bounds. God’s healing power of Divine Life is restoring, healing, and revitalizing our world in this very moment. We let go of any fears or anxieties, and we affirm that all are safe, healthy, and protected. We bless all those who support us in maintaining vibrant radiant health. We express Divine Life in all we think, say, and do. We bless our global family with radiant health, peace of mind, and abundant love.
Donations and love offerings are especially important to keep our ministry going, so please consider mailing your gifts or donating online with this secure link. Together we will weather through this temporary crisis: “We look not at what can be seen but at what cannot be seen; for what can be seen is temporary, but what cannot be seen is eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:18

We hold you and your loved ones, our community, nation, and world in the healing Light of God’s Love.

Many Blessings,
Unity of Massillon
