Unity was founded in 1889 by Charles and Myrtle Fillmore, a couple who lived in Kansas City, Missouri.

Unity of Massillon is dedicated to teaching and practicing the universal principles of Truth as taught and demonstrated by Jesus Christ.

Prayer and meditation are central to the Unity movement and to our church. Prayer is one of Unity’s five principles, and is defined as creative thinking that heightens the connection with God Mind and therefore brings forth wisdom, healing, prosperity and everything good.
